I have gone through 4 different rounds of interviews in this company, of which 3 are technical rounds, and 1 is managerial. The whole process took approx. 20 days, HR was good, and she communicated well after every round.

Questions:

• Java Oops concept questions
• Basics programming question- reverse string, how to traverse in a table, split string.
• How to use window handles.
• Count how many characters are in a string.
• Array vs. array list, list, map, set
• wait, glue in cucumber, runner class in cucumber, tags, TestNG, extent report.
• Define your framework (This question has been asked in every interview)
• Agile, Scenario-based questions related to projects, and many more.

Tips: If you are in Automation, prepare the basics of the language you are good in, like oops concepts in java. Try to give as many interviews as you can it will increase your chances of selection make a habit of noting down the ques which were asked of you and do prepare them for the following interview. This way, you will cover all the topics so quickly. And don’t give up if you are not selected in the first few interviews keep trying and prepare yourself you will undoubtedly crack one.

• Explain the framework you use in your project.
• What is the development life cycle of your project?
• Write a program for prime numbers.
• Identify the duplicates in an array and delete them.
• How do you perform smoke testing?
• What is the procedure you follow if you find any bugs?
• How many regression cases are there, and how frequently do you execute them?
• How to configure the automatic run of test cases in Jenkins?
• There is a drop-down. On selecting one option, a sub dropdown will appear. Write code to verify all sub-drop-downs are appropriately displayed for each option in the main drop-down. ( Ex: select India from the drop-down and verify all the states are displayed in the Sundrop down).
• How to identify XPath.
• There is a 2×2 table. On the first visit, the first element will appear (a,b,c,d), and on the second visit 2nd, element (e,f,g,h) in all the cells will appear. How do you identify the 2nd element in a 4th cell (h)?
• How do you execute test cases parallelly?
• There are 50 options there in the list box. I don’t want to select one option. Write a code.
• Explain the structure of the pom. And its importance is related to the java concept.
• Explain the use of overloading in selenium.
• Explain the test cases of lift, both functional and non-functional.
• I don’t want to take data from an Excel file. What is the other possible way? ( Property files). Explain how to read data, then.
