Location: Bangalore/Noida
Position: Sr. Quality Analyst
Experience: 6 yrs

First round: Automation Skills

The interviewer asked me three questions in 70 min

  • Asked me to automate POST calls and assert validation on the same.
  • Gave a code snippet and asked me to check if there was any issue with this code without running it.
  • Write an edge test case for the given API call.

Second Round: Data Structure and Algorithm Round

  • There were two questions, both from Leetcode.
  • One was Easy other one was of Medium level.

Third Round: System Understanding round

The interviewer asked me a lot of questions few of which were related to the following:

  • How do you debug logs?
  • How are you running regression?
  • What are design patterns you know?
  • Explain your framework
  • Questions related to Cucumber, TestNG, and GitHub branching used in your project.
  • Have you worked with any cloud platforms and deployment things?
  • At last asked me to write Functional, Non-functional, and Security test cases for a given scenario.

This round lasted from 75 min to 80 min.
